Biography: Ly Kimlong
Ly Kimlong, (Khmer: លី គីមឡុង), was born on 28 March 2003 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He is a Cambodian socialist political activist with close relations with DPR Korea. At age 17, he took office as President of the Korean Friendship Alliance Group, formerly the Cambodian-Korean Friendship Association. Kimlong has written socialist writings and has translated works of Former Korean President Kim Il Sung into Khmer language. In 2024, He was featured in the DPRK's April Spring Friendship Art Festival delivering a congratulatory speech to the DPR Korea's government. http://www.korart.sca.kp/index.php/april/reflection?p=3&order=33&language=english In recognition of his work to promote Cambodia - DPR Korea relations, Kimlong was awarded DPRK's leader badges by Pyongyang, one of the first Cambodian nationals and few non-korean nationals to be awarded.
